Pali Momi Medical Center has 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, offering a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital delivers many medical firsts, including the region’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center.
It is the only facility in Hawai‘i that uses a team‐triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
The Food and Nutrition Services provide quality nutritious meals to patients, visitors and staff while educating on the importance of healthy eating habits. We also work with medical staff to ensure accurate diet modifications for patients as needed. The department performs a variety of general preparation and food service activities, including tray assembly and delivery, cafeteria work, cashiering, ware washing, pantry support, nourishment activities and catering.
As the Dietitian Aide, you will help to produce patient menus based on individual care plans and needs, maintain patient diet records, and provide general office support for the department. Minimum qualifications: High school or equivalent. Post‑high school course in Food and Nutrition or Diet Therapy or equivalent work experience.
Preferred qualifications: Six (6) months of nutritional sciences or medical nutrition therapy or related experience.
