With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center.
Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
We are proud to offer family practice medicine at the majority of our satellite clinics, making services available for the entire family in each community. Our family physicians provide personal, comprehensive and continuing care for people of all ages, emphasizing disease prevention, health promotion and patient advocacy.
As a Medical Assistant in our Family Medicine department, you will join the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide compassionate health services to patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities. We are looking for someone detail‑oriented, attentive, with strong communication and patient care skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.

- High school or equivalent.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certifications from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NAHP, or NHA.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Card.
- Must be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period.
- One (1) year back‑office medical assistant experience in an outpatient clinic, physician’s office, or related setting.
