We are seeking a Fellow Engineer - Lead Test Engineer to join our team in Aiken, SC. The position is for 1 year with two 1-year renewal options, and two positions are available. US Citizenship is required.
Duties/ResponsibilitiesApply technical experience in the field of specialization or broad-based experience in multiple technical fields to resolve complex problems. Incorporate advanced technical practices and a variety of complex features into problem-solving and program planning. Provide leadership in determining solutions to complex problems and be recognized as having expertise in a functional area(s) of technical expertise.
Work HoursA 40-hour work week is scheduled, with various work schedules including 5/8s, 4/10s, and 9/80s. Overtime will be expected at times to meet deliverables.
Required QualificationsEducation: An advanced degree and experience, a Ph.D. degree and about 10 years' experience, or a MS degree and 12 years' experience, or a BS degree and approximately 15 years' experience.
Experience: Technical knowledge of Commissioning/Startup Testing, including experience working in the following technical areas:
Conduct of Startup Testing, Design reviews, Procedure development, and Test Execution. Demonstrated previous experience with the use and implementation of Manual 5E, Startup Test Program, and related directives and standards.
Required Qualifications
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. Demonstrated personal accountability for facility/project schedules, deadlines, budgets, and the safe performance of work.
Preferred QualificationsCandidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two years are preferred.
