OverviewBecome a part of ENERCON as an Instrumentation and Controls Design or Project Engineer. We are seeking talented I&C Engineers at all experience levels, from early‑career professionals to principal engineers. Our career path has many options: mid‑level, senior, or principal roles with opportunities to lead, mentor, and progress into subject‑matter or leadership positions.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners, coordinate with diverse engineering teams, and ensure project success.
- Develop design studies and engineering calculations; prepare precise, error‑free drawings and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations.
- Attend project meetings, perform field walk‑downs, and mentor junior staff.
- Maintain expertise in industry codes, safety principles, and advanced design techniques, staying ahead in the dynamic nuclear sector.
- Deliver exceptional engineering solutions aligned with rigorous quality assurance programs.
- Build strong client connections through clear communication and professional engagement.
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated, well-rounded designs that meet diverse project requirements.
- Engage on‑site with client personnel, ensuring all structures, systems, and components meet the highest engineering standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience designing electrical systems.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (chemical or pulp & paper), energy, and government (DOE) projects.
- Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and effectively in teamwork settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- For federal contract roles, U.S. citizenship is required.
- Senior Engineers typically have 7 years of post‑graduate experience;
Principal Engineers typically have 10 years. - If you have less than 3 years of experience, consider early talent opportunities.
USD $90,000.00 – USD $ / Yr.
