The Speech‑Language Pathologist supervises and participates in therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral myofunctional disorders at NHC Home Care Aiken.

• Directs and supervises the Communication Disorders Service Department.
• Provides evaluations and therapy as ordered by the referring physician and recommends an appropriate treatment program for approval.
• Evaluates, plans, and implements therapy programs, including goal setting and periodic re‑evaluations.
• Participates in the in‑service training program for Home Care personnel.
• Consults with Home Care staff regarding communication problems of patients not receiving speech pathology services.

• Master’s degree from an approved curriculum in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SP) from the American Speech and Hearing Association or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Licensed in the state(s) of practice.
