** What you will be doing
*** Position and align components for assembly, manually or using hoists, and verify parts clearances
* Fasten and install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies
* Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies
* Read and interpret assembly blueprints and specifications manuals, and plan assembly or building operations
* Verify conformance of parts to stock lists and blueprints, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers  
** Basic Requirements:
*** High School Diploma/GED and 2 years in a mechanical, engine or automotive trade school or equivalent associate’s degree; or 3 years of experience in a durable goods assembly or manufacturing environment

** Preferred Requirements:
*** Basic knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, raw materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods
* Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair ,and maintenance
* Basic knowledge of engine control systems, design, assembly and function
* Basic knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations or standards
* Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
