Make A Difference, Aiken! - Local Coordinator to Exchange Students Needed!

Join Education Travel & Culture (ETC), a non‑profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides inbound and outbound program opportunities for high‑school students worldwide. We are looking for a part‑time/​supplemental income Local Coordinator in Aiken to support exchange students, host families and local high schools.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with exchange students, host families, and local high schools; provide monthly oversight of the exchange student
• Receive full training, teaching and ongoing support from the Field Manager
• Recruit volunteer host families through reverse networking, job postings, phone calls and outbound e‑mail; be compensated for each family recruited
• Adopt a flexible schedule and work independently as an independent contractor

Qualifications

• Ability to problem‑solve and support students and host families during the program
• Self‑motivated, organized and well‑networked within the community
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Recruitment skills and ability to screen potential leads (nice‑to‑have)
• Compensation is dependent upon recruitment efforts and student oversight; this position provides supplemental income only
