Aiken Campus Volunteering; Afternoon Shift

Volunteer Position – Aiken Campus Volunteer Center

The Aiken Campus Volunteer Center is located at 46 Enterprise Ave, Aiken, SC 29803.

• Pack Backpack Meals for students.
• Assemble Senior Boxes.
• Pack Meals for Families.
• Sort and pack canned goods.
• Sort fresh produce.

Monday – Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

• Sign up for each shift before it starts and arrive at least 15 minutes early for orientation.
• Check in at the kiosk using the tablet.
• Dress code: comfortable, closed‑toe shoes; no sandals, no athletic leggings, no sleeveless or cropped tops, and skirts or shorts longer than fingertip length.
• Wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty or sweaty.
• Be able to stand for 2–3 hours and lift 5–10 pounds repeatedly.
• Cell phones, headphones, earbuds are discouraged during volunteer activities.
• Reschedule if feeling ill.
• The environment is smoke‑free and drug‑free.
• Any theft, harassment, or abuse will not be tolerated.

Volunteers must be 8 years or older. Volunteers under 18 must be registered by a guardian.
