Job Description
Fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care tasks in accordance with licensure and training. Delivers competent, caring, and efficient patient care. Applies knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret patient information, understand required treatments, and determine appropriate nursing needs. Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems and admission assessments within required time frames.

Certification Required

• NIHSS

• BLS

• ACLS

• CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training)

• Current RN license

• Graduate of an accredited RN program

Skills Required

• Minimum 2 years inpatient nursing experience

• Telemetry experience

• 6 months travel nurse experience

• Med-Surg Telemetry experience

• Cerner EMR experience

• BSN highly desired
