Duration: 03 months contract to hire
Pay: $26.70/hr. on W2

The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems, is seeking a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector) for its Weekend Shift. In this role as a QA, you will work with a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base.
You'll also provide auditing support to shop floor operations.
- Must have experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.
- Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.
- Able to support Second and Weekend Shift.
- Typically requires high school diploma or the equivalent, and one year of related working experience.
- Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) experience.
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience.
- Weld inspection knowledge/experience.
- Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence experience.
Typically requires high school diploma or the equivalent, and one year of related working experience.
