Base Pay RangeCA $28.00/hr - CA $34.00/hr
Position Details- Position: Body Repair Technician
- Dealership: Airdrie Autobody
- Location: Airdrie, AB
- Classification: Full time, Future opportunity
- Team: Airdrie Autobody is part of the Auto Canada Collision Centres’ network and a division of Auto Canada, the largest Canadian‑owned and publicly traded automotive dealer group in Canada and the US.
- Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work to be performed.
- Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Mask and tape, prime and paint body surfaces, using tools such as paint spray guns and motorized sanders.
- Inspect repaired vehicles for proper completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of paint job.
- Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset.
- Completion of a related post‑secondary program and/or training courses.
- Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes and adherence to processes.
- Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost‑effectively.
- I‑CAR certification training and I‑CAR certification would be considered assets.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
