Job Overview

The Wood Automotive Group, one of Alberta's largest automobile retailers for over 40 years, is offering an exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join our All Makes Collision team!

The successful candidate should have general body shop experience and familiarity with the automotive industry. The individual must be accurate and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task. Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude are required.

• Primary point of contact for customers before, during, and after the repairs
• Providing high quality customer service
• Providing accurate collision estimates and following up with customers to book in for repairs
• Write supplements when necessary while vehicles are in for repairs
• Provide accurate and competitive estimates on collision repairs

• At least 2-3 years experience writing collision repair estimates
• Valid AB drivers license with a current and clean abstract
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients
• Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines and complete all assigned tasks
• Sound understanding of all collision repair processes
• Ability to negotiate with clients
• Experience with Mitchell estimating and Audatex
• Experience dealing with insurance companies
