Full-Time Weekend & Evenings Veterinary Receptionist Open to Part-Time Applicants City Centre Animal Hospital

Are you passionate about helping people and animals while thriving in a fast‑paced environment? City Centre Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate, organized, and motivated Weekend and Evening Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team!

We are currently hiring for a full‑time position, but are also open to considering strong part‑time applicants with evening and weekend availability.

As one of the first faces clients see when they walk through our doors, our reception team plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and efficient experience for both pets and their families.

• Flexible scheduling based on hospital needs
• Fast‑paced urgent care/general practice environment

• Providing exceptional client service and support
• Greeting clients and assisting with questions and concerns
• Scheduling appointments and managing incoming phone calls
• Processing payments and handling patient check‑ins/check‑outs
• Managing emails and client communications
  
  Maintaining accurate client and patient records within veterinary software systems
• Monitoring cleanliness and organization of the reception/waiting areas
• Assisting with hospital flow and supporting the medical team as needed
• Escalating urgent or complex concerns appropriately

• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
• Compassion for both animals and their owners
• Strong teamwork and problem‑solving abilities
• Previous reception, customer service, or veterinary experience considered an asset
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
