RVS invites applications for a continuing, full‑time (40 hrs/week – afternoons) Building Operator II position for Glenbow Elementary School and Cochrane Christian Academy starting immediately.

• Engages actively in janitorial duties, including cleaning of the school and the grounds (90 % of this position is cleaning)
• Reports any defects, damages, or loss of school property to the Head Building Operator
• May coordinate cleaning duties of caretakers
• Ensures temperatures in the school building are maintained during the shift
• Checks on the proper operation of heating, plumbing, and electrical systems; reports any problems promptly to the Head Building Operator
• Security duties as assigned

• 1‑3 years previous caretaking experience
• Valid Building Operator B Ticket or 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate or equivalent is an asset
• Experience with building HVAC systems is an asset
• Experience in a supervisory role
• Reliable transportation
