Position: Casual Educational Assistant Support Role
Enhance educational experiences as a Casual Educational Assistant with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board in the Orangeville, Caledon & Bolton areas. Discover the fulfilling role of assisting students with diverse learning profiles.

The Educational Resource Worker will work alongside the Special Education team to improve student engagement and well-being. This role includes supporting the safety and physical needs of students, facilitating their independence, and tailoring learning assistance in both group and individual settings. Be prepared to handle emerging challenges with sensitivity and diplomacy to ensure inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with educators on student engagement plans

• Provide physical support for students' daily needs

• Assist in fostering independent learning for diverse abilities

• Work with children in classroom and group situations

• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork capabilities

Requirements:

• Diploma in ECE, EA, or relevant qualifications

• One year experience with diverse learning needs preferred

• Proven experience working with students with special needs

• Ability to perform essential physical tasks

• Training in CPR and crisis intervention may be required
