Position: RVS Generalist Teacher for Grades 6-9
Rocky View Schools invites you to apply for a full-time teaching role as an Elementary/Middle School Generalist. You'll be enriching students' lives at C.W. Perry School in Airdrie starting August 27, 2026.

This position caters to a diverse student body in grades 6-9, emphasizing a learning environment rooted in respect and collaboration. Applicants must have or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate while demonstrating a passion for educational innovation and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create dynamic lesson plans tailored to students’ needs

• Maintain a respectful and inclusive classroom culture

• Track student performance and provide constructive feedback

• Collaborate with colleagues on school projects

• Engage in continuous professional learning

Requirements:

• Must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check required

• Professional reference from a supervisor issued in the last 18 months

• Final practicum report for recent graduates in lieu of reference

• Ability to embody RVS core values
