Position: Full-Time Learning Specialist EAL Position
Join Rocky View Schools as a full-time Learning Specialist for English as an Additional Language, engaging K-12 students through innovative instructional design. Collaborate with teachers and leaders to foster inclusive education.

As a vital part of the Learning Services team at Rocky View Schools, this role requires recent classroom experience combined with effective literacy and assessment practices. You will support EAL learners across multiple school sites from August 27, 2026, to June 30, 2030, under the guidance of the Director of Learning Services. The ideal candidate will ensure alignment with RVS assessment philosophies to elevate learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in inclusive literacy and numeracy practices

• Guide data collection and analysis for improved teaching

• Foster instructional design practices in classrooms

• Lead professional learning sessions for K-12 staff

• Collaborate with other specialists for student engagement

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years classroom experience required

• Familiarity with RVS Practice Guides

• Understanding of Alberta Teaching Certificate requirements

• Comfortable in inclusive education settings

• Strong communication and technology proficiency
