Position: Science Teacher at ACA At-Home
Enhance student learning as a Science Teacher with ACA At-Home in Airdrie. This full-time teaching role involves classroom engagement, online instruction, and curriculum development across high school and Grade 9 science.

This 1.0 FTE position blends distance education and in-person learning within a supportive Christian framework. You will focus on high school sciences and Grade 9 Science, utilizing innovative teaching methods that promote student success in a hybrid environment. The role calls for collaboration with administration and the fostering of positive relationships with students and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement engaging lessons both online and in-person

• Assess student progress and provide detailed reports

• Communicate academic concerns with parents and staff

• Participate in the planning of community events

• Develop rapport with students and colleagues

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education degree

• Valid Alberta Education Teaching Certificate

• Experience in teaching Science and secondary grades

• Proficient with online learning platforms

• Active Christian faith in alignment with school values
