Position: EAL Teacher Role at Ecole Edwards
Become an integral part of Rocky View Schools as a part-time EAL Teacher at Ecole Edwards Elementary in Airdrie, Alberta. This position is designed to enhance English language learning for K-6 students.

RVS is looking for a qualified part-time EAL educator (approx. 0.7 FTE) beginning October 1, 2026. Ecole Edwards serves a vibrant community of learners, helping them succeed academically and socially. Candidates must either hold or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate and complete specific pre-employment qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate English language instruction for diverse learners

• Design and implement tailored lesson plans

• Evaluate and support student language development

• Collaborate with colleagues for effective teaching strategies

• Document student learning and progress accurately

Requirements:

• Eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Provide a practicum report for new applicants

• Submit a professional letter of reference

• Current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check

• Passion for fostering inclusive education environments
