Position: Learning Specialist for Indigenous Perspectives
Elevate the quality of education at Rocky View Schools in Airdrie, Alberta, as a Learning Specialist focused on Indigenous learning. This full-time role is dedicated to enriching K-12 education with Indigenous insights.

Starting on August 27, 2026, you will collaborate with teachers and leadership to seamlessly integrate Indigenous perspectives into the curriculum. Engaging with community partners will be essential in developing culturally relevant educational programs for a comprehensive understanding of Indigenous histories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist educators in creating inclusive strategies

• Lead professional learning workshops for staff

• Collaborate with Elders and community members

• Coordinate and design cultural events and initiatives

• Develop educational resources reflecting Indigenous cultures

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years recent classroom experience

• Solid understanding of inclusive education practices

• Familiarity with RVS educational frameworks

• Ability to support engagement of Indigenous students

• Required eligibility for an Alberta Teaching Certificate
