Position: Temporary Full-Time French Teacher
Join the team at RVS as a Temporary Full-Time French Immersion Teacher at A.E. Bowers Elementary School starting August 2026. Engage students and provide them with a rich bilingual education.

This position seeks a dedicated French Immersion Elementary Generalist fluent in both French and English. A.E. Bowers serves students from Kindergarten through Grade 6 and is a cornerstone of Airdrie's educational community. Ideal candidates will embody the school's values while striving for excellence in student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach French Immersion to K-6 students

• Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Collaborate on curriculum and teaching goals

• Monitor and assess student progress regularly

• Participate in faculty meetings and professional training

Requirements:

• Must have an Alberta Teaching Certificate eligibility

• Strong fluency in French and English required

• Recent graduates to submit practicum report

• Professional reference letter required for outside applicants

• Must obtain a Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
