Middle School Humanities Teacher

Inspire young minds as a temporary Middle School Humanities Teacher at C.W. Perry School, Airdrie, Alberta. This full-time role runs from August 27, 2026, to March 12, 2027.

Rocky View Schools is seeking a dedicated educator to teach Grade 6 Humanities. The successful applicant will promote an inclusive learning environment, engage students and foster a love for learning. Candidates must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate, and new graduates can submit their final practicum report instead of a reference letter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Grade 6 Humanities lessons

• Create an inclusive and safe classroom atmosphere

• Collaborate with staff to improve student outcomes

• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly

• Communicate effectively with students and parents

Requirements:

• Eligible for Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Suitable reference from a recent supervisor

• Submit a current Criminal Record Check within 30 days

• Recent graduates should include practicum report
