Position: Education Assistant Role with KIN-DIR
Be an integral part of KIN-DIR Education Foundation as an Education Assistant. This full-time position in Airdrie focuses on supporting special needs children through effective strategies and individualized plans.

As a dedicated Education Assistant, you will work closely with a supportive team, implementing tailored strategies to assist children in their developmental milestones.

Your role involves regular communication about progress and working in settings that meet the children's needs, whether in preschool or r skills will play a significant role in fostering a positive development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out and facilitate IPP goals assigned by Learning Support Teachers

• Collaborate on developing strategies for success in diverse environments

• Maintain clear and organized documentation of progress

• Create engaging materials to bolster children's learning

• Provide support to ensure child hygiene and behavioral needs are met

Requirements:

• Academic credentials in a related field

• Minimum 1 year experience with special needs children

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Proven time management and organizational skills

• Child Care First Aid and CPR certification
