Position: Casual Learning Assistant for RVS
Join Rocky View Schools as a Support Substitute Learning Assistant for the  school year. This on-call role is essential in creating a positive learning environment while supporting students' individual needs.

RVS is looking for dedicated individuals to serve as casual learning assistants. You will need effective communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to adapt to changing technologies. This role requires candidates to foster an inclusive environment, cooperate with educational professionals, and assist students based on their Individualized Programming Plans (IPPs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to students with individualized programming plans

• Foster positive relationships with students and staff

• Support classroom learning initiatives and communication

• Work independently and collaboratively in educational settings

• Maintain current knowledge of behavioral management techniques

Requirements:

• Education Assistant Certificate, or enrollment in an education program

• Training or experience with complex behavior needs

• Accessibility via phone and internet

• Current Criminal Record Check required

• Positive references and strong communication skills
