Position: Full-Time Grade 7 Humanities Teacher
Rocky View Schools invites applications for a temporary Grade 7 Humanities/Option Teacher role starting August 27, 2026, at Herons Crossing School. This position is designed for educators passionate about nurturing student growth.

This full-time commitment (1.0 FTE) is your opportunity to influence the learning environment in Airdrie. You will work within a dedicated team to deliver an engaging Humanities curriculum, ensuring all students feel valued and included. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute Humanities lessons

• Promote inclusivity in the classroom

• Evaluate and report on student learning outcomes

• Collaborate with educational staff on curriculum development

• Connect with the community and parents to enhance learning

Requirements:

• Eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate

• New graduates should submit practicum report

• Professional reference from most recent job required

• Complete Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check
