South Central Adult Learning Society is part of the provincial Community Adult Learning Program or CALP.

Supporting the adult foundational learning needs in Rocky View County, SCALS is looking for a contract ELL instructor to facilitate our non-credited, intermediate ELL course for CLB 2-3 learners in Airdrie.

This informal, learner centred program is scheduled for Tuesday/ Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm, 24 classes starting September 24 and ending December 17, 2026.

Compensation is $35.00 per instructing hour plus some prep time allocation. TESL certification and/or adult ELL teaching experience preferred. Police check also required upon hiring.

Note:

This is a contract position for our Fall 2026 term with the possibility of extension into subsequent terms.
