Position: Full-Time Learning Assistant Position
Rocky View Schools is seeking an engaging Learning Assistant for Heloise Lorimer School in Airdrie. This full-time role centers on supporting students' varied learning needs through collaboration and care.

In this impactful position, you will help adapt and implement educational programs tailored to children with complex needs. Your responsibilities will include assisting in personal care, maintaining student confidentiality, and collaborating with teachers for effective strategies. Strong interpersonal skills will be crucial as you promote education and independence in students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized student support plans

• Monitor and adapt strategies for behavioral support

• Assist with personal care routines for students

• Help prepare educational materials

• Record and analyze student behavioral data

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or relevant training

• Experience supporting students with behavioral challenges

• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage difficult and complex emotional situations
