Rocky View Schools is seeking a committed Learning Assistant for Northcott Prairie School, serving grades K-9. This position, starting immediately through December 18, 2026, emphasizes supporting students with complex needs, reinforcing learning strategies, and promoting their health and independence. Your collaboration with teachers will help adapt programs tailored to each student’s individual plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students according to individual support needs

• Implement strategies under teacher guidance

• Record observations of student behavior

• Collaborate in student planning meetings

• Prepare individualized program materials

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or related qualification

• Experience with challenging behavior support

• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred

• Training in behavior de-escalation is an asset

• Ability to handle diverse student needs
