Your role focuses on promoting learning, belonging, and independence.

This term position requires a commitment of 30 hours a week, starting immediately until June 29, 2027. You will assist students as outlined in their individualized plans, helping those who need personal care and emotional support. Implement strategies from teachers and record observations, ensuring a positive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with personalized care and learning needs

• Implement teacher-directed strategies and student plans

• Record behavioral observations for supporting strategies

• Collaborate in student planning meetings

• Prepare individualized program materials under teacher guidance

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or related degree

• Experience with students exhibiting challenging behavior

• CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain

• Ability to manage high-stress situations effectively

• Strong communication skills and rapport building
