Rocky View Schools is hiring a full-time Elementary Generalist to join Northcott Prairie School in Airdrie, Alberta. Support a diverse classroom environment for students in grades K-9.
This full-time position is ideal for educators who are passionate about creating inclusive learning spaces. Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. The role does not accept current Continuing Teaching contract holders. Collaboration and innovation are key in the diverse community at Rocky View Schools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for K-9 students
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with peers to enhance learning experiences
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities
Requirements:
• Alberta Teaching Certificate eligibility required
• Recent graduates must submit practicum report
• Professional reference letter from recent supervisor
• Current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
