Diverse Learning Teacher in Alberta

Elevate your teaching career with Rocky View Schools as a Diverse Learning Teacher focused on complex educational needs. This full-time position requires collaboration with specialists and travel among RVS sites.

You will play a key role in educating over 29,000 students while implementing Universal Design for Learning and supporting Individualized Program Plans. A minimum of 5 years of classroom experience is required, with preferred expertise in Inclusive Education or Literacy Coaching. Your ability to utilize data effectively will drive student achievement and enhance classroom practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement MTSS and UDL approaches for diverse learners

• Create and execute Individualized Program Plans (IPPs)

• Support staff through coaching in effective teaching strategies

• Monitor student progress with data-driven methods

• Foster positive behaviour support plans for students

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of teaching experience in classrooms

• Specialized knowledge in student support strategies

• Experience with English as an Additional Language learners

• Eligibility for an Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Complete Criminal Record Check required
