Chinook’s Edge School Division is hiring a full-time temporary Physical Education Teacher for Didsbury High School, effective October 5, 2026. Candidates with relevant teaching experience are encouraged to apply.

This opportunity involves teaching Physical Education to Grades 9-12 students, fostering an engaging and inclusive environment. The successful applicant will need a valid Alberta Teacher Certificate and to provide a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check. Experience in related subjects is valued for enhancing student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Phys. Ed. to students in Grades 9-12

• Design engaging and effective curriculum

• Ensure a safe and welcoming classroom atmosphere

• Participate in school community and extracurricular activities

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Teacher Certificate required

• Prior experience in teaching Physical Education preferred
