Child Development Advisor

Position: Full-Time Child Development Advisor Role
Support student growth in the Child Development Advisor position at Rocky View Schools, located in Alberta. Emphasize inclusion and personalized programming for students from grades 7-9 at Meadowbrook Middle School.

This temporary full-time role involves developing and implementing student support programs, fostering relationships between students and staff, and conducting classroom observations. You'll assist in creating safe, caring learning environments by engaging with both students and families. Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate programming for inclusive school environments

• Develop and implement behavior plans in collaboration with staff

• Conduct classroom and school observations of students

• Facilitate individual and group sessions to reinforce skills

• Liaise with parents and external agencies for support

Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in social work or related field

• Bachelor’s degree in related field is an asset

• 1-3 years of experience in inclusive education settings

• Strong relationship-building skills with students, parents, staff

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
