FLINT’s Emerald Career Program supports individuals with limited direct industry experience. Selected participants complete a personalized simulator training week, then receive hands-on, site-based training after successful completion. The program develops practical experience, confidence, and skills for heavy equipment operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete one week of personalized simulator training
- Progress to hands-on, site-based training successfully
- Develop practical heavy equipment operating experience
- Build confidence through structured program training
- Strong work ethic and commitment to learning
- Comfort working in a camp environment
- Willingness to work a rotating schedule
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Recent driver’s abstract with minimal demerits
