Support water services operations as a GIS Asset Management Specialist in a term role. Manage asset data integrity and streamline lifecycle planning through technology and information.
In this temporary position, you will report to the Team Leader of Asset Management. Your focus will be on improving processes related to maintenance management and sustainable service delivery within the Water Services portfolio. You will interact directly with linear asset data and collaborate with staff to optimize service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accuracy within the CMMS/Cityworks and GIS environments
• Support asset data collection, validation, and updates
• Format data for transfer into the GIS database
• Align work with best practices in maintenance management
• Develop web maps and dashboards for reporting
Requirements:
• Degree in Business, Engineering, IT, GIS, or similar
• 2-3 years experience in ArcGIS environments
• Advanced user experience with Cityworks or CMMS systems
• Knowledge of water services operations preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
