Eaton Engineering Internship: MCC

Embark on an engineering internship with Eaton at the Motor Control Centre in Airdrie, Alberta. This 8-month position provides hands-on experience in drafting and technical support for electrical products.
The successful candidate will assist Eaton’s engineering team with various tasks central to electric power distribution and product support. This internship is perfect for students in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Systems Engineering. You will have opportunities to engage in 3D design, project support, and direct client interactions—all while learning industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models and drafting assistance with Inventor

• Develop schematic diagrams using AutoCAD software

• Manage quotations and technical product inquiries

• Collaborate in New Product Development efforts

• Provide technical support and information for customers
Requirements:

• Enrolled in a relevant Degree or Diploma program

• Authorized to work in Canada; no relocation available

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications

• Experience reading blueprints and schematics
