Position: Expert Engineer for Transmission Lines
Join WSP's expanding Transmission & Distribution Electrical team as a Senior Transmission Line Engineer. Your work will focus on innovative designs that enhance Canada’s electrical infrastructure and integrate renewable energy.

This role involves overseeing transmission line projects from design through implementation. You’ll prepare technical deliverables, evaluate design options, and manage project timelines and budgets. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams, combined with technical proficiency in high voltage engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee technical design for transmission lines

• Develop and review construction specifications and drawings

• Perform quality assessments on internal and external work

• Prioritize various projects while adhering to budget

• Act as liaison between clients and project teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field

• At least 10 years of transmission line design experience

• Desired proficiency with PLS-CADD and AutoCAD

• Must hold Professional Engineering license (P.Eng.)

• Leadership experience in project engineering environments
