Become a Senior Electrical Designer/Checker in the oil and gas sector, leading advanced design tasks with a focus on engineering principles. Your expertise in control systems and drafting skills will be essential.

This pivotal role involves overseeing design services, gathering data, and producing accurate electrical layouts while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Candidates must demonstrate 15 years of direct electrical design experience, particularly in oil and gas processing. Key responsibilities include managing design criteria, checking layouts, and providing technical guidance to junior staff, ensuring projects meet rigorous specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather information and prepare detailed design deliverables

• Design and modify system components to enhance product efficiency

• Analyze design factors for manufacturability and compliance

• Verify technical drawings for clarity and accuracy

• Coordinate design tasks with project engineering teams

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent

• Minimum 15 years design experience in oil and gas

• 5 years’ checking experience in an EPC environment

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CADWorx

• Knowledge of CEC and NEC regulations
