Field Exploration Technician in Nunavut

Reporting to the Exploration Coordinator, this position requires a methodical and experienced candidate with a college diploma in mining technology and five years of relevant experience. You will engage in hands-on tasks, including drill site inspections, surveying, and supporting rigorous health and safety protocols in challenging conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect drill sites and conduct downhole surveys

• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards

• Train on downhole survey instrumentation usage

• Manage drill core and sample inventories

• Supervise the maintenance of camps and equipment

Requirements:

• College diploma in mining technology or a related field

• 5 years of relevant experience in exploration

• Physical capacity for manual tasks and extended walking

• Familiarity with ArcGIS and surveying equipment

• Strong communication skills in English
