As an Automation Specialist, you will contribute to essential engineering tasks and work collaboratively within the Electrical Engineering Department. This role requires strong communication and technical proficiency to manage project responsibilities effectively while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program and configure automation systems including PLCs
• Conduct tests and calibrations for various electrical components
• Help develop and uphold programming standards
• Provide technical support and collaborate on system architecture
• Engage in commissioning projects, requiring some travel
Requirements:
• Relevant engineering technology diploma required
• Minimum of 2 years control systems experience
• Emerson Delta V experience mandatory
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Experience in refinery or fabrication environments a plus
