Position: Senior Electrical Designer/Checker Role

This senior role requires a solid background with at least 15 years in electrical design, including 5 years in a Canadian context. You will direct junior staff and oversee the execution of quality standards in design processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and present detailed design proposals based on gathered data

• Modify and enhance existing designs for better manufacturability

• Ensure compliance with contractual specifications and standards

• Check completed layouts for accuracy and clarity

• Supervise and train junior and intermediate designers

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering Technology degree or equivalent

• 15 years of design experience in oil and gas

• Minimum of 5 years as a design checker

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and CADWorx

• Understanding of industry regulations such as CEC and NEC
