Experienced Process Engineer in Heavy Oil

This role demands a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy oil processing. You'll guide junior engineers and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams on FEED studies and turnkey projects. Additionally, you will enhance client relationships while gaining hands-on experience overseeing project fabrication at Propak's Airdrie facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor junior engineering staff
• Manage various heavy oil engineering projects
• Oversee project fabrication and assembly
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Support startup and commissioning during travel
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
• 5+ years of experience in heavy oil processing
• Experience with HYSYS and other engineering software
• Strong communication skills for team interaction
• Registered Professional Engineer or eligible for membership
