Chinook Winds Lodge in Carstairs, Alberta is looking for a qualified Beautician/Hair Stylist to provide essential hairdressing services. This independent contractor role offers flexibility with a commitment to resident care and professionalism.

As an Independent Hairstylist at Mountain View Seniors' Housing, you will offer hairdressing services 2-3 days a week, prioritizing resident needs. You’ll be responsible for managing your appointments and ensuring compliance with health standards. A strong focus on delivering compassionate care while keeping client confidentiality is paramount in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hairdressing services in the designated salon

• Schedule and manage client appointments effectively

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment

• Monitor resident transportation to and from appointments

• Report any resident health or safety concerns promptly

Requirements:

• Journeyman Hairstylist Certificate from an accredited institution

• Eligible to practice in Alberta with a clean Criminal Record Check

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Knowledge of infection prevention practices

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
