Chinook Winds Lodge in Carstairs, Alberta is seeking a qualified Hair Stylist to provide vital hairdressing services. This is an independent contracting role focused on delivering exceptional care to senior residents.

At Mountain View Seniors' Housing, the Hair Stylist will be responsible for serving residents 2-3 times a week, managing their own schedule while prioritizing resident accessibility. Maintaining professional standards in both service and hygiene is crucial. You will need to establish trustworthy relationships with residents and keep detailed records of appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional hairdressing services in the Lodge salon

• Schedule and manage appointments for residents

• Clean and sanitize all tools and equipment

• Ensure smooth transportation for residents to appointments

• Report any safety or health issues to management

Requirements:

• Licensed Journeyman Hairstylist in Alberta with a clean background

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Organizational skills to manage appointments

• Knowledge of infection control practices

• Commitment to resident-centered care and confidentiality
