Reporting to the Wellness Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents.

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician’s orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an LPN.
• Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
• Create a welcoming and supportive environment for the residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff.
• Oversee resident care, including regular communication with residents and their families, and provide guidance to staff.
• Supervise the Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members assigned to the unit.
• Admit, readmit, and change resident status, and provide ongoing assessment to residents.

• In good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
• Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, and/or senior health industry is an asset.
• You have good judgment, the ability to identify risk, and foster a positive work environment.
