Join Rocky View Schools as a full-time Occupational Therapist dedicated to supporting student development in inclusive learning environments. Facilitate key therapeutic interventions, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educational professionals across various schools.
This continuing position involves developing OT strategies for students with diverse needs, from Kindergarten to Grade 12. You will actively support their participation in school activities, promote independence, and assist in creating effective Individual Program Plans. Access to reliable transportation is essential, as travel across schools in Alberta is part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct OT services within classroom settings
• Support the prevention of OT difficulties for students
• Promote independence in daily life activities
• Write assessment and treatment reports for stakeholders
• Develop integrated goals and activities connected to student plans
Requirements:
• Master of Science in Occupational Therapy
• Current registration with the Alberta College
• Minimum 2 years working with complex needs children
• Experience in early childhood settings is an asset
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
