Join the State Hospital's Psychology Department as an Enhanced Psychological Therapist, where you will provide CBT interventions in a highly supportive environment. This permanent, full-time role is central to patient recovery and wellbeing.
As a Band 6 Psychological Therapist, you'll engage with patients facing severe mental illnesses and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts in Scotland's unique high secure hospital. Your expertise in evidence-based therapy will allow you to create individualized treatment plans and play a significant role in patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions
• Implement Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for various patient groups
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions
• Participate in care planning with multidisciplinary teams
• Lead service evaluation and contribute to quality improvements
Requirements:
• Current registration as a mental health professional
• Relevant degree and Postgraduate Certificate in CBT
• Proven experience with CBT and diverse mental health challenges
• Effective collaboration in clinical settings
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
