Temporary Recreation Aide at NSBSD

Contribute to community enrichment as a Temporary Community Recreation Aide with NSBSD. Organize and supervise activities in school facilities during off hours and summer breaks.

You'll be responsible for opening and closing recreational facilities, ensuring safety and appropriate behavior.

Your role involves distributing supplies for activities and maintaining storage areas neatly. Interact with participants, manage incidents, and adhere to all district policies to create a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize activities in gym, pool, and multi-purpose areas

• Oversee facility opening and closing procedures

• Distribute and collect equipment for scheduled activities

• Maintain clean storage areas for supplies

• Report incidents and concerns to administration

Requirements:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent

• 2-3 months of related experience required

• Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Comply with all district policies and regulations
