Your role will focus on facilitating activities and promoting social interaction among seniors.

As a Recreation Aide, you'll collaborate with the Team Leader to enhance departmental programs. Key responsibilities include setting up activities, transporting residents, and monitoring their interests and progress. You'll maintain accurate records and encourage new residents to participate in community life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and revise recreational procedures with Team Leader

• Set up activity areas and assist resident transport

• Monitor resident feedback and progress consistently

• Maintain program records aligned with policies

• Lead activities that promote social interaction among residents

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in recreation, kinesiology, or related field

• Experience working with seniors and understanding of their needs

• Knowledge of leisure principles and concepts

• Valid driver’s license for bus operation

• Successful completion of Vulnerable Sector Check
