Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Support Lead (L2/L3) to join a large-scale infrastructure support environment supporting client. This is a client-facing, onsite role that requires strong technical expertise, clear communication, and the ability to operate in a highly visible support environment. The selected candidate will work closely with the Client infrastructure team, supporting a complex enterprise network environment of approximately 20,000 devices and collaborating with global delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide L2/L3 network support in a large enterprise setting
- Act as a lead resource for network-related issues and escalations
- Support enterprise network infrastructure, including routing and switching
- Work closely with the onsite infrastructure team in Calgary
- Collaborate with offshore delivery teams in India and the Philippines
- Support and guide the Network Operations Center (NOC) team
- Engage directly with client stakeholders onsite
- Troubleshoot critical issues impacting business operations
- Help maintain the stability of the network backbone supporting enterprise systems
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in routing and switching (Cisco or equivalent)
- Strong experience in enterprise network infrastructure support
- Experience handling incidents, escalations, and issue resolution
- Experience working in large-scale network environments
- Familiarity with NOC operations
- Exposure to multi-location or global infrastructure environments
Soft Skills
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Fluent English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively onsite with client stakeholders
- Leadership mindset with the ability to guide and support teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Client or a similar global systems integrator environment
- Knowledge of Versa, SD-WAN, or VLAN technologies is an asset
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work onsite full-time (5 days per week) in Calgary
- Must pass background checks and compliance screening
- Ability to operate in a regulated enterprise environment
